One year after the International Forum of national NGO platforms (IFP) was created in Paris, we are happy to introduce the Forum brochure. The decision to produce such a document was taken at the IFP Facilitation Group meeting in Washington, in July 2009. This brochure is available in each of the IFP’s four languages; it introduces our movement and gives a precious directory of national NGO platforms across the globe.
In this directory are presented only the national platforms which took part in the Conference organized in Paris in October 2008, when the IFP was created. In 2011, the platforms which could not take part in the process originated in 2008 will have the opportunity to become official
members of the Forum.
International governmental organizations, international solidarity and civil society actors, journalists, citizens and activists, if you wish to contact a national NGO platform or a regional NGO coalition, please contact the International Forum’s members. National NGO platforms will know how to guide you to identify the most relevant actors at national level for you to conduct your consultations, interviews, exploratory missions, investigation, research, etc.
