Nepalese Civil Society Representatives present memorandum to their Prime Minister
Civil Society Representatives met the Prime Minister of Nepal and submitted memorandum on 7th September 2008. The memorandum including other issues, has demanded the government to guarantee the citizens rights to food, health, education and employment. The memorandum has a short background on the role played by the civil society during the last democratic movement and conflict management. It has urged the Prime Minister to provide degnify space for the civil society in the process of constitutional drafting.
