United Nations Conference on Climate Change (December 1st - 12th in Poznan, Poland)
Coordination SUDGiven the links between the struggle against climate change and development, French environmental NGOs and international solidarity NGOs have decided to join their efforts in an ad hoc group within Coordination SUD entitled "Climate change and development", in order to support the formulation of climate policies concerned about development constraints.
A new agreement on post-2012 climate regime must be reached at the end of 2009 at the Copenhagen Conference. In order to reach this, the Poznán Conference (COP14/MOP4) is an essential step in the agenda. For Coordination SUD and the French Climate Action Network, it must be the opportunity to send a positive signal to the international community for the set-up of the future post-2012 climate regime.

13 décembre 2010, Les organisations non gouvernementales de la région Pacifique et les autres acteurs internationales, régionales et locales concernés se sont réunis à Tarawa, Kiribati pour une réunion intensif d’une journée, au début du mois de novembre, pour discuter de la nécessité de prendre ou non des mesures immédiates concernant le changement climatique dans le cadre des préparatifs de la 16ème Conférence des Parties (COP16) le mois prochain au Mexique. -
